Simple Ways to Make Healthy Meals with Frozen Chicken Nuggets

For most of us, thinking about preparing dinner with chicken nuggets is completely off the table, as we tend to think of nuggets as a meal for kids. However, there are many simple ways to make a healthy and delicious meal out of the supermarket’s frozen chicken nuggets. All it takes is a bit of creativity and thinking outside the box so that we can prepare a weeknight dinner that both children and adults will enjoy. Here are some tips you should keep in mind when cooking frozen chicken nuggets.

One of the easiest ways to prepare a nice meal with chicken nuggets is by serving them on a plate of pasta. First, cook the nuggets and boil some pasta. Then, add tomato sauce to the nuggets and sprinkle them with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, and then melt the cheese by putting the nuggets back in the oven. Once they’re ready, serve them with the pasta and add some extra sauce. This will add a nice and interesting touch of flavor and texture to an everyday plate of pasta.

If you want to prepare plates of appetizers or sliders for a family reunion or an outdoor cookout, chicken nuggets are the bite-size wonder you didn’t know you needed. All you need to do is cook them up, whether you buy frozen nuggets or prepare them yourself, and stack them up onto mini biscuits. You can add top these sliders with a dill pickle and serve them with roasted broccoli for its final touch.

Fried chicken tacos are one of the most delicious chicken dishes out there, but many of us tend to leave them aside for dinner when it comes to preparing them ourselves. However, there is a quick and easy version of fried chicken tacos we can do at home without all the hassle. Chicken nugget tacos are a quick way to enjoy the flavor and the texture, and if we pair them with a fresh slaw of cabbage and carrots, and then add our favorite dressing on the top, we have a quick and tasty meal ready to be served.

Chopping or slicing chicken to add to our salad is so common that we might already be tired of such a simple combination. So, if we are looking for a way to eat more chicken but don’t want to give up on our salads, we can add frozen chicken nuggets instead. The best way to make the most out of our bed of greens is by adding some extra toppings, like sautéed frozen corn or hard-boiled eggs. Also, top the salad with grated cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and thinly sliced red onion for an extra touch on our not-so-ordinary-now weeknight meal.
