These Are Some of Our Favorite Sauces to Dress Chicken Breasts

Chicken breasts are best enjoyed when we have the right type of sauce to dress them, giving us new and unique flavor rich experiences. Having the same type of meal often can make any of us tired quite quickly, and it can happen with chicken, too. So, if you are looking for easy to make and delicious alternatives to the same old grilled, baked, or roasted breasts, these sauces will transform your meals in a matter of minutes without requiring much effort or a long list of ingredients.

We can’t start this list of our favorite chicken breast sauces without this five-ingredients, easy-to-make thick-and-tangy barbecue sauce that is perfect for outdoor cookouts or just a regular weeknight meal. All you need is organic tomato paste, dark brown sugar, spicy Dijon mustard, barbecue seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce, mix it all together, and it’s ready for you to brush it on the chicken before cooking it. Make as much as you need and don’t worry about leftovers, since you can refrigerate this sauce for an entire week.

If you want to add an Italian mix into your chicken dinner night without having to cook for hours, you can prepare a pesto sauce that goes great on chicken breasts, pasta, or vegetables. All you need to prepare this delicious and versatile sauce is basil, Pecorino cheese, pine nuts, garlic, and olive oil. Once the chicken has been cooked, add this pesto sauce and you’ll be ready to enjoy an Italian-inspired dish like no other.

When going international with our weeknight dinners, we need to go all the way and try as many different recipes as possible. If we are feeling Caribbean this summer and want to add these vibes to our chicken meals, trying a sweet-and-spicy Mango Salsa is the way to go. To make this sauce, you need 1 peeled and diced mango, peeled and diced cucumber, chopped jalapeño, red onion, lime juice, and chopped cilantro leaves. Spoon it over the chicken breasts once they’re cooked, and then snack off the leftovers along with crunchy tortilla chips.

To end this on a classic note, we have a butter sauce recipe that adds plenty of richness to any kind of chicken meal, and that can even go great with steamed vegetables, too. Classic butter sauce, also known as beurre blanc, is a French classic, and all you need to make it at home is shallots sautéed in white wine, whisk in lemon juice, cream, and butter. This way, you’ll bring a classic, even familiar, and delicious uniqueness into the mix.
